According to reports, Rachel Nichols is up for an as yet unidentified role in Star Trek XI. She worked with J J Abrams on Alias so it looks like he's keeping up the tradition of working with people he already knows......though no word yet on Greg Grunberg being in the film!

You know I think if I was an actor I would be seriously peeved off with directors like Abrams for only going for those he knows babe
