This is a strange one

Variety have said that Elton John's film company, Rocket Pictures, plans to make a sci-fi horror......Pride and Predator (the working title)....... where an alien crash lands and slaughters characters in Pride and Prejudice

Elton's partner, David Furnish, said "It felt like a fresh and funny way to blow apart the done-to-death Jane Austen genre."

Will Clarke will direct, Elton will be Executive Producer and also supervise the music and filming is due to start later this year.....I can't wait

It does actually sound quite interesting, although it has the potential to be absolutely dire!

I'm hoping it's meant to be a comedy scifi/horror cause it sounds totally mad!

it HAS to be a touch of comedy - in that case, enlist Peter Jackson......he loves the doing the dirty comedy horror stuff
