Another Bill Bryson book- this time he's hiking the Appalachian Trail with an old friend of his, Stephen Katz. And it's a good read- he's very knowledgeable and has an enthusiasm for his subject, and his dry humour makes it all the more enjoyable, some of the encounters he has with his fellow hikers make for very funny reading! I discovered Bryson a while ago and have since read quite a few of his books, I really rate him.
