This is a fairly recent release on Microsoft's latest dream machine and I've been lucky enough to play it! A friend got it recently and we've been playing through it. Basically it's a more or less straight adaptation of the PC games in the series, but it hasn't lost any of its charms. In fact I think its all the better now that you can use a standard game controller rather than PC keyboard, makes changing weapons and other in game functions a lot easier to execute as you don't have to fumble for the right button or fiddle around with a mouse!

You can play it in a single player campaign mode, two player campaign or various multiplayer 'deathmatch' permutations. And all the best weapons from the original games remain intact, so you can hunt people down with a Flak Cannon ( the best one in my opinion, it makes a satisfying 'splat' noise when it hits someone!) or pretty much any other weapon that takes your fancy. It takes a bit of getting used to but its worth it.

Sounds the business mate.... I have played Unreal for the PC but always found the keyboard rather annoying for controlling so I'm with you on what you say about the console controller it must be much better...are the graphics good? I know the pc version I had a while back now....was kind of blocky looking

The graphics on this version aren't too bad, they've really taken advantage of the console's capabilities with this one. Playing it in surround sound is ace if you have the right speakers!
