I think you have hit the nail on the head there babe......its got the actors to lure bums on seats but its the script that will really dictate sequel potential...I really hope its good...of course how he revamps it too..(the look of the bridge, ships and the Universe generally) I also think the guy Chris Pine has alot on his shoulders too as many will look at his performance as Kirk

I think Chris Pine will pull if off as Kirk but the one I have doubts about is Simon Pegg as Scott. He's always seemed a strange choice to me (though I'm slowly getting used to the idea) so it'll be interesting to see what he's like.

I actually think Pegg will be fine....Scotty was always a kind of comedy character anyway so I think he'll work out now
