It was in the paper the other day that George Takei is going to marry his long term partner. Best man will be Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols is matron of honour and Leonard Nimoy will be a guest.
It's good George Takei came out about being gay and feels he can get married now after so many years, but it's sad William Shatner hasn't been invited because of rifts with his former cast mates.

| You'd think they'd have made up after all these years especially when there are only 5 of them left from the original cast.......but all weddings have these kind of frictions I suppose |

All messing aside it kind of rings like Galaxy Quest in a way doesn't it??

| They've got married! George Takei married his long time partner in a Buddhist ceremony at the Japanese American National Museum. Walter Koenig was best man and Nichelle Nichols was the matron-of-honour. |
