Highlander without a shadow of a doubt. Next up would be Endgame. Hate to nitpick, but you left out Highlander: The Source and Highlander: The Search For Vengence, although you might not count Search For Vengence as it is an anime and not directly linked to the films or tv series.

1. Highlander
2. Highlander: Endgame
3. Highlander 3: The Sorcerer
4. Highlander: The Source
5. Highlander II: The Quickening

I only loved the original - couldn't get away with any of the others.  The rest destroyed the mysticism of the first.

Yup. It came out last week. If you can hold on, I will try and post a review in the next day or so.

Rod - I know where your going with that. The thing is with the Highlander franchise is you can enjoy them if you ignore the HUGE plot holes. I know a lot people find it difficult, but I get over it as I am a sucker for films with swords in (well there are a few exceptions).

We were just discussing this the other day Jipdog   ..and I'm sort of in the same boat as Rodd here I adored the first one..its a classic but the second one kind of ruined it for me too and by the time I seen the third which is more on the same lines as the first film it kind of lost something for me   ...though I am willing after your glowing reviews Jip to venture into the tv series whenever the eventuality comes my way

Yes, I suppose if you try to watch the other films in isolation then they could still be enjoyable.
