I have to admit, I didn't like it as much as I thought I was going to, feel a bit let down to be honest as I was expecting a really tense and at times scary film. Didn't feel tense in the slightest to me! I have to say however, I did feel sick!!! Totally, and I don't get seasick at all. Perhaps that was distracting me because I never really got that sense of reality and fear like I did with the Blair Witch.

It was a good film and I enjoyed it, the effects were first class but just wasn't as good as I was expecting. Apparently you were supposed to wait till after the credits, which we did, but nothing happened. Anyone else wait till after?

On another note, although I'd seen the ST trailer before and it's nothing much AND I think the film will be a bit pants, I was still excited and got goosebumps when the trailer came on. I think it's just the thought of ST on the big screen again at long last!!!

Funny the Blair Witch really didn't scare me at all...I did enjoy it though.....But I always preferred The Last Broadcast which was a similar film but I thought it better made.....alot of people reckoned Blair Witch plagiarized from The Last Broadcast as the B.W makers admitted to seeing T.L.B before making their film.

I can't wait for Trek now...how can you say it will be a bit pants    NOOOOOOOooooooo!!!

I didn't stay till the end of the credits Honey but apparently there's supposed to be 2 words said when static comes up on the screen.......I don't remember hearing/seeing that part so maybe that was at the end of the credits?

Wonder if the words somehow hint at a sequel?

Because the story sounds rubbish!! It's the laziest idea I've heard of, must've taken all of 2 seconds to come up with that. They should've done something that could incorporate at least 2 Trek series IMO. Plus, Kirk etc are household names, even people who don't like ST know the characters, I think it'll just be too weird having other actors playing them and that it won't work.

Saw this on Saturday. Thought it was very good. Must admit, I came out with a bit of a headache. I heard about the proposed sequel and I think it's a bad idea. It would be virtually the same film with different characters. It's one of those films that a sequel would detract from the original. If you read the Empire review, they gave it 5 stars but said detract 2 stars if they ever make a sequel. I think they have a point.

In regards to the new Star Trek film. I can't decide whether I'm excited or not. I can see from both points of view. Difficult to think of different people playing the crew. Probably end up seeing it anyways.

Yeah that was total pants. The sequel, if it goes ahead, could be from someone elses perspective so I've been told on another forum. I'll just find the info...

Either way the hype is kind of on going, due to a sequel of sorts that has just been announced, on the bridge in the mass exodus Hud looks back towards Rob's brother, you see a reporter with a Camera you also see her in the bunker when the Lass explodes and she gets onto the 1st Chopper with Lilly so one theory is that it's more footage but taken from this camera giving a more in depth view of why this has happened.

That's because I ignored all the posts before I went to see it as I didn't want to read anything that might spoil it. Anyway, my description was better.
