Is Duncan good though? Or is he just another copy of Connor? This was always the kind of tjhing that entered my head aswell when I heard of the series...and how come Connor at the end of the first film recieves the final quickening if there was still other immortals running around like in the third movie and Duncan? Is any of this explained in the tv series? Or am I nitpicking now?

marc singer was in an episode , and the lead singer from fine young cannibals was an immortal as well _________________

They were from the same clan, but not cousins. If I remember correctly, there was about a hundred years or so between their ages (very difficult trying to keep track of ages in the increasingly self-correcting Highlander timeline).
Adrian Paul is very good as Duncan, and the best part is, he's British! No American doing a half arsed job of an accent! He is also an accomplished Martial Artist, so some of the fight scenes in the tv series are better than the films.
The whole didn't-Connor-win-the-prize-at-the-end-of-the-first-film-and-makes-any-subsequent-sequel-or-tv-series-null-and-void thing is the big plot hole I was talking about the other day. If you can get over the fact that the producers were taking the smeg out of you, then there is much enjoyment to be had from (a couple of) the films and the tv series. _________________ "Say, would you like a chocolate covered pretzel?" |
