Yeah I had a look and it was Variety that everywhere seems to've got the info from. But it was Paramount that announced it so the ST site is obviously a bit slow with it's news updates - lol.

You'd think ST would be one of the first to say about it seeing how its the official site!

Still. it doesn't alter the fact we've got even longer to wait now

 Yep I noticed this a while ago now that the Star Trek crowd are the slowest to get this kind of info out even if you join their site program (which I did for FF )  where your mean't to get the exclusives first and be able to report and discuss it....you find that all these other sites like Variety are reporting the news well beforehand... a week later I'm getting an email from the Trek crowd about some new apparent exciting news...and I go to it and find its something that was already reported a week or two ago
