Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" may well be the film that kicks off a second Indiana Jones trilogy says Jim Windolf in a follow-up piece to his extensive report for Vanity Fair.

Spielberg was also asked if this film leaves open room for another one and he responded with a typical brush off - "Oh, I don't know. I haven't even thought about that. I'm still in the cutting room. I can't even think beyond the next cut."

However Producer Frank Marshall is more direct about the possibility - "I don't think so. We're all getting too old. We have to hand the torch to somebody else. I don't know who that's going to be."

This has lead to speculation that Ford will assume a background role as rising star Shia LaBeouf takes the punishment and the glory as an "Indiana Jones, version 2.0--an Indy in black leather for a new generation of adventure-film fans."

Indy in Black Leather like a 50's biker or T-Bird (the gang in Grease?

) should we be worried?

It depends on how well the movie does but I wouldn't mind seeing Shia LaBoeuf take a bigger role........he's proved his bankability at the Box Office and it would be natural having Indy's son take centre stage in future movies.

And considering Indiana is like an adopted name that he just took apparently it means that Shia's character could just do the same thing with Harrison being the only one calling him Junior

You could have a comedy moment with Harrison Ford and Sean Connery both saying "Junior" ......and Shia LB and Harrison looking at each other then at SC!

Actually your best bet would be G Lucas ....after all he'd be writing it ...I do think that this would be a fun moment

I've not written to him Luc.....I just came across the addy one day and made a note of it that's all! It's just a contact address....not his personal one! Though, didn't I give you the addy one time when you said about script writing?
