Hmmm a prequel...interesting...I thought they may do a kind of Cloverfield job and show another city or the other side of the city or something with the same time frame as the first movie and Smith would co star perhaps but it looks like they want Will Smith to return fully

I think they could do a sequel with Will Smith surviving somehow in that old 'King of the Rocketmen' way   Basically it brings us back to the moment when he runs to the glass with the bomb but what we didn't see in the last film was Smith's character blown completely out of the room and although scorched slightly still very much alive and ready for some sequel action       it could work

All the ingredients for a cracking zombie-style film were there, just a real let down IMO.
The zombie-thingys were pretty scarey though, although the CGI stuff was a bit iffy!!

Yeah the cgi looked a bit basic in places  

I thought the film was quite good but it could have been more menacing and scarier......the worst part for me was what happened to his dog!

Some of the CGI was absolute pap (the zombies), but a lot of it was top rate (deserted New York City).
