I did notice him in the reflection,thing is i drank abit,and i nodded off a bit,i may have missed some really important parts of the film,but by then,i was gone on.

I really don't think you missed all that much mate I think what has made the film worse for you is that you had high expectations for it which is understandable considering his previous films and I do think I'm being slightly generous to Shyamalan with my review simply because of that.

The Others......

A woman lives in a large house with her 2 children while waiting for her husband to return from the war. The children are sensitive to light and their mother has to keep locking doors so they don't enter light filled rooms and she makes sure the curtains are shut during the day.

She advertises for staff and employs 3 people who show up one day saying they've worked in the house before. Meanwhile, strange events start happening.......the piano being played when no one's there, banging doors and the daughter saying she sees a boy....when no one else does....

It's a pretty scary film......I even jumped a few times

and I never saw the twist coming at the end!

The Others
I really enjoyed this film too babe..I watched it again last night and its still very watchable...the children are brilliant in it particularly the young girl I thought. And your right there was some creepy moments in it...I really liked the bit were the old woman is playing on the floor resembling the daughter and the Mother attacks her.

Yeah that was spooky Luc

The locking/unlocking doors and closing/opening curtains were getting a bit annoying after a while but when all the scariness started happening I was saying "unlock the door,open the curtains"

I really like the bit where they go searching for the intruders in the house and open up all the curtains ...Another good bit is when the kids are in bed and the young girl is talking to Victor who keeops pulling over the curtain and you don't know if its her just being nasty to the brother

I thought the little boy was excellent in that scene Luc....I was feeling scared for him

I remember this film,very good as i remember,i was sober then.

But i also remember half way through,i paused it,because normally the wife and i,like to play detective(no nothing of a sexual nature,thats called private dxxx.)

No we just see if either of us have guessed the ending,and we both got it right.I know crazy 30 somethings or what.Our life is full of craziness.

But it was good film,very good acting,and some chilling moments.I always prefer ghost films,rather than slasher films.

I was wondering what you were leading up to there YTTM.....so was your wife I bet!

I love ghost films rather than slasher movies too.......even if I can never guess the ending like you!
