He's directed some good tv shows in the past
I was just reading the synopsis ..did you read it mate?

A Young Man Who seeks revenge of his mothers death. He finds his grand-father, Heihachi Mishima, and pleas to be trained. When the Mishima leader announces a "King of Iron Fist" tournament. He finds out that his mother's killer will be participating in the tournament. He must fight against the worlds top competitors to achieve his goal with no interference. Written by Neru Cha

The leader of a highly corrupt business under investigation of murder, Heihachi Mishima, suspiciously announces a tournament to crown a "king of iron fist" whereby the winner will be made his personal bodyguard and will have riches and fame laid upon them. However the tournament is not all it seems, as all of the contestants seem to have their own separate agenda's to get close to the man looking to employ them. Consequentlly a group of elite fighters, undercover police and assassins team together in the hope of uncovering the truth but slowly realize they are in fact linked together through more than just there goal of killing Mishima

I'm not holding out hope. As much as I want this to be good, I think we will have Streetfighter mk II on our hands. Also, I don't think there will be any big names in it. Do you remember the rumors when Mortal Kombat was first announced? Bruce Willis as Baraka. Jason Scott Lee as Liu Kang. Cynthia Rothrock as Sonja Blade. There were lots of crazy casting rumors at the time. There was even a rumor Arnie was going to be in it, but his character eludes me at this time. It was probably something stupid like Goro.

You know Jip I know what your saying and it probably sounds most likely but I'm going to try and stay optimistic and hope for a fantastic cast.....well one can hope can't they

Oh, I really want this to be good! Is it live action or animated? Seeing Yoshimitsu et al on screen could be good. However I'm a bit pessimistic about it...
