Hi Luc

Rod's shop looks the business doesn't it.....I can see why it's doing a roaring trade   It must be fantastic having your own business.......I think I'd have a shop specialising in rare dvds/vidoes!

LOL! That settles it....I'm setting one up

I like collecting old tv progs and it's frustrating when I'm desperate to buy an old DVD/video of a certain prog and can't find it anywhere! I'd try and stock short films, Independent films and little known low budget films too!

And you know where I live there used to be a video/dvd store that used to specialise on getting rare dvds and having loads of the sci-fi shows....I used to always get the new ds9 and Voyager episodes before even Sky would show them...but they closed about two years ago now due to these big chains opening up all over and also the owner was telling me the net did damage the business too as more people were buying online getting  better prices

Yeah the net's one of the biggest reasons why shops fail........they don't have the overheads that shops do I suppose. I think you'd have to offer a better quality of service than online shops, then people would trust you and prefer going to your shop instead of buying online.
