I absolutely hated the character development on Voyager....as in there was none

And I do agree the first season was the best (I have recently caught a few again on Virgin) There was certain characters that they could have developed better..... certain relationships the same...The Most notable was the Chakotay role and his relationship with Janeway..
Its an awful pity in a way that Janeway's character was a woman because once the creators went down that route you could tell it tied their hands or prejudiced decisions on the future developments of the crew and others around her most notably her first Officer as they just had to have her twice as good as everyone else and this was achieved unfortunately by making others like Chakotay weaker

Could you imagine if the whole run of the show had Chakotay a real tough nut who challenges Janeway's thinking alot throughout and I firmly believe had there been a male Captain there they would done that...because the show would have been more about two very different crews merging into one rather than what it did actually turn out to be....a sisterhood fest......with all this family talk and Janeway as the Mother

episode i watched last night was brilliant , when archer is on the shuttle with t'pal , and he;s telling her what happened during the nx programme before enterprise was built . really enjoyed that one .

Some of the episodes were very good and I think people will appreciate Enterprise more as time goes on....at least I hope they do!

i've been trying to watch as much of them as i could , to see how good it really was .

People seemed to like seasons 3 and 4 the best cause they had story arcs and the stories were more intense....but I liked the fun moments with Trip and Malcolm in seasons 1 and 2! They were the best 2 characters (especially Malcolm

I have to say I am enjoying them too...give me it over Voyager any day

aye i have to agree there mate , only good thing about voyager was terri ryan , or 7 of nine , wow just imagine 9 burds looking like her Wack wake up man ,

Course Malcolm gets a mention Luc

There was a lot of potential with his character but they didn't make full use of him........it was always Trip, Archer and T'Pol who got the storylines

I saw a Voyager episode on Monday night.....Janeway and Chakotay were left on a planet cause they had some kind of bug. There were lots of wistful looks between them and staring in each others eyes.....then Enterprise found a cure for their illness, beamed them aboard......and end of budding romance!

Hmmm yep potential for more shirtless Malcolm too eh??

That Voyager episode is awful babe ...they were constantly playing with that relationship and it always ending up a dead duck...they really did destroy Chakotay as a character

I'd never have guessed Luc....I thought it was her great acting that everyone watched

Yeah more shirtless Malcolm instead of showing shirtless Archer and shirtless Trip all the time!

The writers didn't seem to know what to do with Chakotay....no wonder the actor used to moan abot Voyager at conventions
