This should be something to look forward to,
"Kung Fu Hustle" director-star Stephen Chow has signed on to helm and co-star in Columbia Pictures' "The Green Hornet."
Seth Rogen has already boarded the project as the masked crime fighter. Chow, one of the biggest draws in Asian cinema who has enjoyed crossover success with such films as "CJ7" and "Shaolin Soccer," will portray the Green Hornet's similarly masked manservant Kato.
In tapping Chow for the project, studio continues a long association with the star and director. Under its local language initiative, Sony co-produced and released "Kung Fu Hustle," which grossed more than $100 million worldwide. Sony also released "CJ7."
"Green Hornet" will bow June 25, 2010.

Sweet! He's one of the more obscure comicbook crimefighters but it does sound promising. _________________ The Dark Side is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be..unnatural. |

That's excellent! It should be more grittier than the old tv show and have lots more action in it too I have a couple of vids of the tv show and watching them, I always think Bruce Lee was underused.......I wanted to see some Enter the Dragon type action! |

Oh yeah I remember hearing about this last year though at that stage Rogen's involvement was only known and not Chows...definitrely sounds good doesn't it
Oh and here's a little tidbit of info I learned only recently too that not many people know....The Green Hornet is a blood relative to The Lone Ranger, who is another character created by Striker.
The Lone Ranger's nephew was Dan Reid. In the Green Hornet radio shows, the Hornet's father was likewise named Dan Reid, making the hero the Ranger's grand-nephew.
They are similar in ways most notably both having different race partners _________________

I actually think that would have made some good stories if they had The Green Hornet go back in time to the old West ....Kato and Tonto could have a Brokeback Mountain moment _________________

Yeah that is strange?? Perhaps he's the villain and his character hasn't really been defined yet??
