The first trailers for the Christian Bale-led "Terminator Salvation", Zack Snyder's graphic novel adaptation "Watchmen" and the Ridley Scott-directed thriller "Body of Lies" are expected to premiere in front of "The Dark Knight" when it hits theaters on July 18th reports Coming Soon.
The first trailer for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will NOT be with 'Knight' it seems, rather looking likely to premiere with "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" in August.

That's strange if they put the Harry Potter trailer with Clone Wars  It's like saying HP is purely for kids so we'll stick it with an animated film. The Potter films are quite dark in tone and lots of adults are Potter fans, so you'd think the trailer would be with The Dark Knight film instead? |

I'd say its just more timing and perhaps they thought it would get over shadowed by the Dark Knight trailer which in fairness it probably would have so they decided to release the trailer afterwards

| Good point Luc....I never thought of that! It would make better sense and make the Potter film stand out more. |

Yep I think many films will be wanting to avoid The Dark Knight....as it would have been massive anyway but add to that it being Ledger's last full work and even more now want to see it
