Well I quite like her music

........but I agree she's a bad role model for kids. I'd add Pete Docherty, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell to the list too......but they're the types who get all the publicity, get more successful the worse they behave and seem to get away with things......so kids think they're cool.

They're all barrelscrapers, and don't deserve the 'celebrity' tag. As it is Wino has emphysema apparently and will be told to get clean or die. Now I hate her music but think any harm that can be avoided should be. After all this sort of thing has claimed the lives of many talented musicians- Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison etc, and it just makes you wonder what they see in doping themselves to high heaven.

I actually didn't read the link that Sta provided in his opening post thinking it was just more about her drug taking....

I may not like her but you wouldn't wish an illness like that on anyone

You do have to wonder how people like her either haven't been taught or just ignore all the side effects of drugs, they can do bad things to good people and it'd be a waste if there's another casualty.

Because Morphy there is so many drug takers out there who abuse and don't suffer any lasting damage.... its like smoking....for every lung cancer sufferer there is many more happy smokers..

The question we have to ask is are these things bad because a minority of self inflictors end up suffering badly from it?

I suppose its down to personal choice and to an extent taking a risk, as you do run the chance of being one of the unlucky ones.
