i find this a hard one - as there can be no evidence.....................but, who is sad enough to pretend they have watched that many films when they have'nt

I'd dispute the Greatest Film Buff title too. Film buff to me suggests someone who's very knowledgeable about films, but I think he just watches them so he can claim a title in the Guinness Book of Records.

I can understand if he's kept cinema tickets right from when he was little, but there's no way you can verify what he watches on tv unless Guinness officials were sat with him all the time!

And how do they know he actually even stayed awake while watching all these films either for all they know he has a bad week a couple of years ago and only half watched a dozen movies

If he does have cinema tickets, how do you prove they are his and not given to him by other people?

Yeah its definitely a difficult one to verify....I'd love to know how the Guinness Book of Records did??
