Apparently Davros is returning in the last few episodes of this series. There's a massive clue in this week's episode and its second part according to observers- watch out for a Dalek-like shadow ( although it could be Caan, who's also rumoured to appear).

The story goes that he and his last surviving soldier have been waiting to unleash a new Dalek army ( none of this has been confirmed yet so don't quote me on it) and in a trailer for the new series a shape appears that looks half human/half Dalek..all of which points to a certain evil scientist coming back to wreak havoc.

Sweet, I'll have to watch that. Wonder who'll play him though.. I hope they get a big name guest star to do it, that'd be awesome. He's the one villain from the old series I really hoped they'd bring back at some point, he's always struck me as rather creepy! Plus it puts an end to all the rumours that he died in the last few episodes of the original series.

I thought he would be inside the Emperor Dalek from a few series back but was disappointed when it was just the standard mutant inside a slightly different Dalek shell. Glad he's back though.

I'm absolutely delighted he's back too..I agree Morphy he's a great villain and one that definitely used to creep me out too as a kid

I wonder if they'll change him at all for the new series, as they've redesigned quite a few of the old villains in an attempt to modernise them. But I hope they don't in this case, he looks awesome as he is.

I think they will modernise him slightly but not too much....I reckon they will keep most of the old look...hopefully

I don't think he really needs changing, except maybe the Dalek part of him could be modified to reflect his status as creator.

I also think they need to change that mate in order to make it match the new type look of the daleks aswell

Maybe it turns out that actually it was him controlling that Dalek Emperor and he's planning to return as leader of the new breed of Daleks?
