Went to see it last night for the first time, with a lot of expectation as I've been an Indie lover for most of my life. And have to say I loved it (despite the dodgy 'Russian' accent and 'alien' storyline). It was such fun and made me laugh and scream in excitement as Indie should. I agree with many of the previous comments, and glad I made my own mind up rather than taking on board newspaper critic opinion which I think must of put a lot of people off seeing it on the big screen.
I thought it was fab.
Dur dur dur duuurrrr, dur dur durrrrr... etc.

It's a great film that has all the fun, drama and adventure of the other Indy films so I'm glad you liked it too shaz |

I liked the son, although thought he'd really irritate me at first. Not sure about him continuing adventures as I feel pretty protective over the Indiana films, and would like them to remain up where they belong and not get lost within some mediocre second wind attempts at the franchise. That's why I liked the ending to the latest film, because he picked up the hat and Indi took it back off him and put it on... nice touch I thought.
There's only one Indiana! Although River Phoenix would have been a spectacular replacement to continue the adventures... but sadly can't happen.

Yep I think that is pretty much my thoughts on the matter too though I think if they ever really revamp the series and lets face it everyone its going to happen sooner or later...I think they should get a new actor to play Indy and not go down a son in the 50's route...it does just ring of Spin-off to me...
The actor that played Indy in the tv series aswell I though was quite good _________________

The only criticism I had about the film was setting it in the 50s! I've always hated the music and fashions from that time |

Yep the 50's doesn't really do anything for me either...its a pity it couldn't be kept in the 30's
It shouldn't be that long before the dvd release I reckon Sta
