Very true, as the Doctor and the Master both used watches to hide their Time Lord selves when they needed to become human. Although I sort of hope David Morissey isn't the new Master, I'd prefer someone a bit better, someone who's good at playing villains. If they could get Derek Jacobi back that'd be good, he played Yana/ the Master well I thought.

And I love the regeneration effects- the lines spoken by previous Masters being replayed as the memories come flooding back. He's a good baddie- charismatic yet evil!

It was- and they did a similar thing for the Doctor when he opens his watch in 'The Family Of Blood' episodes after he realises he can't carry on as plain old John Smith.

Oh, definitely, the Master must have been a lot more fun to play for those who've portrayed him.

I actually hope they bring him back again now- could there be a plot where the Master allies himself with the Cybermen for some reason? And I guess the David Morrissey character could be a human disguise for the Master himself.

I'd love to see him return I definitely think he was one of the best baddies...there is rumour of a special coming to celebrate the anniversary of Dr Who that could feature seven Doctors.... present and past and wouldn't it be the ultimate to get the The Darleks, Cybermen, Davros and the Master...(the Rani maybe) all joing forces against them

Sounds like it would make a good film more so than a TV series- surely they'd have to go over the usual running time for an episode to do something like that. Maybe it might explain more about the Time War that was mentioned before.
