Its definitely the most realistic portrayal of a comic book in a film I've ever experienced as in its almost like your watching a comic unfold...visually fantastic too .... a very entertaining watch mate

Not too bad...I have to summarise my main findings and then evaluate the strengths/weaknesses of my methods. Why I have to spread it over 3000 words I have no idea but hey, I don't set the rules!

Do you go to see a comic book adaptation because-

Can't decide between B and C, so I'll put both:

B. You are interested in a particular star/director attached to the project.
C. Marketing campaigns (trailers etc) have attracted you to it.

If you answered B or C to the above question-

Did you feel that a lack of knowledge of the original comic held you back in any way?

Probably, but I think I should be able to enjoy the film even if I don't know the comic. It should be accessible to all, not just the clique of people who know the comic

Has viewing the film adaptation attracted you to learn more about the world of the comics?

No, I prefer watching films to fiddling about with comic books

Were/are you in any way involved in comic book fan culture in any way?

No.

As a result, do you have any prior expectations of cinematic adaptations?

I just want the film to be interesting and fun, rather than a lot of in jokes and references that only the die hard fan would understand

Come on Film Flickers, lets help Morphy to get the results he needs
