Though if you recall he used to wear that kind of gear when he was on a stakeout somewhere..or would disappear on a case and Scully would finally catch up with him

You could be right though it does compound the fact that if Mulder was not an FBI agent he'd fit very well in with the Lone Gunmen ...
I do agree though he's better in the suit

And the second picture does look kind of sultry and sexy doesn't it.....I think they might actually do it in this one
