Xmas song pollI love Christmas but there are some songs on year after year that when I hear them I think my head will explode!!! Which is the worst offender?!

Step Into Christmas - Elton John
A Spaceman Came Travelling - Chris De Burgh
Another Rock and Roll Christmas - Gary Glitter
Well. maybe not hate........but when I'm playing Xmas cds I always skip past those songs!

I actually had that Shaky song on there then changed it for Bing Crosby - lol I was going on what I'd heard people on the Radio say and letters I'd read in the paper about the songs that annoy them. I actually really like the Jonah Louis one and don't mind Aled Jones either.
I love that Chris De Burgh song, it's funny cause you said you love that Slade song and I absolutely hate it!! lol
That Elton John song is a bit pants I agree.

People probably get sick of hearing White Christmas played all the time!
I love the Jonah Louis one too! I like joining in the zubba zubba zub zub chorus 
Another one I'm not so keen on is Mud's It'll Be Lonely This Christmas......it's boring! But Mike Oldfield's In Dolci Jubilo (don't know if that's spelt right LOL!) is a simple tune but very catchy!

Well I'm a big fan of Mike Oldfield anyway so I like it. I really like that Jethro Tull one too, Ring Out, Solstice Bells.
One of my faves, and I've a few versions of, is Gaudete, which is in latin. I used to be in the choir at school and always loved singing the latin Christmas songs, they sounded beautiful, even when we sang them - lol
I don't mind the Wizzard one funny enough, it's not that annoying, unlike Slade - argh!!!

IT'S CHRIIIIIIISSSTMAAAASSSS!! That's my Noddy Holder impression in case you didn't know! We never seem to get Christmas songs being recorded now........there used to be lots of artists/bands bringing out new songs.....the last one I remember was The Darkness song. Now, we get novelty songs and an X Factor winner at number 1 at Christmas.
