Xmas No.1???I can't get over all the old Xmas tunes heading back into the charts......I think its great  I see Facebook too is running an online campaign to get The Pogues No1 for Xmas  They reckon there is a real possibility of one of these songs beating the X Factor song....here's hoping it does

Out of those Christmassy ones I'd rather either John Lennon or Band Aid was no.1 as I don't like the other Christmas ones mentioned much. |

I want to see Fairytale of New York but I love all the Xmassy ones too.....I'd love to see the X Factor rntry lose out....not so much against Leon (even though I definitely don't think he deserved to win) but I think the competiton bosses including Cowell have got far too cocky about the No 1 slot |

Yeah, they do automatically think they'll be no.1. I'd rather something that hadn't been in the charts before was no.1 though.
And certainly not that awful Pogues song, Shane McGowan is so disgusting, like a drunk old tramp!! |

He does look awful I concede that Honey but the guy is a musical poet .....he is extremely talented ...its a shame that he got himself into drink and drugs alot

He's very well got here in Ireland and America not only in the music fields but also in the literary ones too for his great lyrics whether you like a songs or voice or not |

I don't blame him...though the song really didn't suit Rhydian's voice anyway...I was surprised that it was chosen for both of them to sing

That's the trouble with having the same song but different kinds of vocal styles......it's bound to suit one person better than another and that's where Leon scored better than Rhydian I reckon. Leon would be hopeless with a classical song but Rhydian would be brilliant. |

Yep but I really believe the song was far too on Leon's side 
.....even if the song had to have been a little bit bigger needing a strong ending I think Rhydian would have been better Oh well I guess we'll never know now |

I think it's a shame the other versions never get to be released.....it's bad enough losing the X Factor without people never getting to hear your song.
Did you read that Simon Cowell's refusing to give Hope a record deal like he said he was going to?! He's fed up of all their fighting! |
