Xbox 360I think I want one of these! I've been playing on a friend's console lately and it's awesome. Can I pick one up fairly cheaply with a hard drive and all the important 'optional extras' like the Xbox Live subscription etc?

I suppose you could mate ...I'm be very tempted to get one myself but the ps3 keeps me pretty occupied at the moment...it depends on what you want ......if its new you want or second hand? You could look on ebay...they have great bargains with Consoles with lots of games with them

aye mind you , you get a ps2 for about 100 pound with games and controler and memory card

you can buy a original x box for 40 quid with game and controller

and in game they are selling the nintendo gameboy for 30 quid , and the ds is about 40 or 50 .

Have they got much cheaper Morphy?? I paid alot for my 60 GB PS3 and I'm kind of reluctant to pay out big money for another console particularly as there is very few games that don't get released on all platforms anyway but if they have gone down significantly I will get one

Well, you can get package deals for about £200ish I've been told, depends where you order from.

I must recommend Halo 3 and Unreal Tournament as the first action games you get if you do plump for a 360, and Pro Evolution Soccer is a good multiplayer game.

I have to admit to being slightly duisappointed with 2008 version...it just wasn't up to the level that you would expect from the change over to PS3......It got alot of criticism and the creators said they will be taking it all on board for the next....so 2009 should be much better for the ps3 and xbox360

yeah hopefully as i think next years ps3 games will just blow the rest away , with the capability of the blu ray disc they should be able to make the most amazing graphical looking games ever .

Yeah I agree but some of the game creators I think have been lazy and not utilising the technology properly yet..... Pro Evo I expect to be even more deeper game...yes have great graphics but I think there should be loads of extras like interviews of players...you should be able to go to dressing rooms at half time and be able to praise or give them the blow dry treatment (which may make them play better or sometimes not) I think there is loads of ways to advance the game further...I also think there should be an option of watching a game from the stands point of view ...I think that could be a great novelty feature....
I also think more obscure things should happen on the odd occasion...like pitch invasions or streakers and there should be fights between players

And all very possible bud if they took the time to make it but churning them out every year religiously is holding them back...I think the same applies for FIFA aswell
