X files 2 Trailer TeaserOkay this was taking at Wondercon and is bad quaslity but the crowd there really get into it which sort of adds to it I think...check it out it looks good...Yes Mulder and Scully are back!!!! with Billy Connolly?????

Yeah you'd never connect Billy Connelly to an X Files movie! I wonder if he'll be doing his normal Scots accent cause I don't think I've heard him do other accents in films? |

Shows how much I've forgotten about the X Files......I read there's something about Mulder and Scully's baby in the film and I was thinking "they had a baby?!!"

Some new info.....The film is called X-Files:I Want to Believe and the subtitle refers to a poster on Mulder's office wall. The film will touch on Mulder's struggle with his faith. Apparently, Chris Carter always wanted to use that title and he's eventually persuaded 20th Century Fox to go with it. I can't say as the title grabs me though

The released the New Movie Plot for this.....
"Mulder and Scully are back in the thrilling novelization of the summer 2008 blockbuster movie based on the classic X-Files TV show! When a group of women are abducted in the wintry hills of rural Virginia, the only clues to their disappearance are the grotesque human remains that begin to turn up in snow banks along the highway. With officials desperate for any lead, a disgraced priest’s questionable “visions” send local police on a wild goose chase and straight to a bizarre secret medical experiment that may or may not be connected to the women’s disappearance. It’s a case right out of The X-Files. But the FBI closed down its investigations into the paranormal years ago. Good. At least it says "ex agents" and it fits in with the timeline. Think I'm going to have a busy summer this year. Last year was a bit slow for me, but this summer there's so many films coming out that Ihave to see! |

Though if you recall he used to wear that kind of gear when he was on a stakeout somewhere..or would disappear on a case and Scully would finally catch up with him

You could be right though it does compound the fact that if Mulder was not an FBI agent he'd fit very well in with the Lone Gunmen ...

It looks like it was all filmed in Canada Luc, though they could have pretended they were in Scotland at some point!
They might have wanted a break from the X Files and go off and do their own thing filmwise and familywise so that's why they didn't do any more? |

Yeah....though I still thought that they would hound them to do another one after the first film..... though would we have Californication now if they had to have? or Straightheads with a naked Scully
