It's about time they got rid of the licence fee and found some other way of funding the BBC. I wouldn't like to see adverts on the BBC...it's good recording things without any breaks. It seems unfair that everyone with a tv has to pay the fee even if they never watch the BBC! It's not as if the fee stays the same for a few years either.....they seem to increase it every year by a big amount.
The part about political bias is true....they always seem to promote Labour over the Conservatives when they should be impartial and let all parties have their fair say. |

did you read though what that Charles Moore (former editor of the Daily Telegraph, a columnist for The Spectator magazine and Margaret Thatcher's official biographer) was saying in that piece......he is giving out about alot of new comedy and comedy shows its not just Ross and Brand and that particular incident he goes on about shows like mock the week and Little Britain  I can't help but feel this is just another era of where older people don't understand young people's humour or tastes and so declare it unnecessary or not worthy
