Warning: intense horror trailers within...Whilst perusing for upcoming horror films I happened across these two beauties. The first one is a trailer for a short film called Criticized (which ShazLouise couldn't watch) about a mentally unstable director who kidnaps a film critic who 'criticized' his film, and the other is for a French film called Martyrs (I couldn't find a subtitled trailer for this one and know little about it apart from it involves a group of people who 'martyr' innocents to achieve religious epiphany or something, and is supposed to be the most brutal film yet). Has anyone come across these before? And what do you think: a new direction in intense horror or just more torture porn?
(Warning: The first trailer is a bit of an unsettling watch)

I never heard of them until now either....its hard to tell from the trailers but I don't see anything that overall different here from films like Hostel...time will tell if its more gruesome ... I definitely want to see both now though
