Turkey puppet to represent Ireland?!!I had to check it wasn't April Fools Day when I read this! 
Dustin the Turkey, a puppet from the people who created Zig and Zag, is on the shortlist of 6 artists chosen to represent Ireland at the Eurovision song contest in May! Dustin featured on the kids show The Den and he's had 3 albums released as well as hit singles including Poultry in Motion
The public get to choose this month which artist they want representing Ireland........and Dustin's the bookies favourite

I didn't hear this ....where did you hear that Cat?? I used to watch the Den when I was a kid but mainly Zig and Zag .....they then took on Dustin who I think was a friend of theirs ...he's a real Dubliner..I can see him winning the Eurovision if he goes through
Believe it or not he also had a few Xmas no. 1's and I have a tape single of his very first hit ...he also went into politics and formed the Poultry Party
I just looked it up ...it is true but it hasn't been confirmed yet ....the song is called '12 Points' ('Douze Points') its a parody of the Eurovision

I saw it on teletext this morning Luc......I'm glad it's true and I hope the Irish pick the turkey I don't usually watch the Eurovision now but I'd tune in to see that

The UK will probably put through another dance number with no hope and Dustin has to be better than our Irish Jig tune like last year

Perhaps you all in the UK can get Roland Rat to do another one of his hits
He's most definitely real Morphi....I used to watch him when I was a kid though Dustin did come in a bit later...I was more into Zig and Zag.....he then took over after they left (they now do Rodge and Podge which also cameo..ed on the Den and were brilliant)
And he is definitely one of the six Irish finalist and he's favourite to be picked to represent the country...so its looking likely
