James Cromwell, who played the pig-lover in “Babe” and warp drive inventor Efram Cochran in “Star Trek: First Contact,” will play the first president named George Bush in “W,” Oliver Stone’s filmic biography of George W. Bush.

Ellen Burstyn (“The Exorcist,” “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore”) plays Barbara Bush (W’s mom; not his daughter).

This should be good but I hear already that Stone is not going to go too far with this film and is going to stay very middle of the road....it won't be damning thats for sure which in itself is disappointing as Stone is at his best when stirring controversial subjects

I can see James Cromwell as Bush Snr ....he has the right look but wouldn't it be fun if John De Lancie was in it too, then we'd have Q playing W
