After The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe been such a success and now Prince Caspian, the second film to be made from CS Lewis's novels which is scheduled to open on the 16 May in the US.It is surprising to hear that the release date of the third Narnia film, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, has been put back a year to 2010.
A Disney spokeswoman blamed the delay on "the challenging schedules for our young actors" and said production will begin next summer, instead of January.

Relative unknown Ben Barnes will play the lead role again (Prince Caspian) for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Well at least all the stars are finding work!

It's amazing how they film tv shows and movies around actors schedules........must be a logistical nightmare at times!

**SPOILER ALERT**

The reason I was surprised at this announcement is because I thought they would have been holding off to see if Prince Caspian is a success first??? To me the First book The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe was the best and althought the other books were good for me they were never up to the standard of the first.......The thing about the Narnia stories too is that the Children eventually split and in some don't even appear....even in the final book where CS Lewis brought back everyone for The Final Battle ....Susan is not brought back citing that she is no longer a friend of Narnia (hinting that she has become more interested in commercial things in the normal human world)

At the end of Prince Caspian Peter and Susan are told by Aslan they will never return to Narnia as they are too old and the next book see only Edmund and Lucy return .

They must be pretty sure its going to do very well
