Thick bread or Thick Politician?

Did anyone else hear this?.......A member of the House of Lords is trying to pass a new ruling governing that sliced bread should be cut thinner to help tackle obesity....Oh brother.. ...what next? Sell half pints of milk? or half tubs of butter/margarine? Christ ..I don't know who is worse the nanny state govenment or the mass public that are suckered in by all the scaremongering and wild theories...
One crowd are worse though than both...and thats the media who have latched unto these things every second day!!

I saw it on the news last night and I couldn't believe it! As though that'll solve the obesity problem If they have thinner slices what's to stop people eating twice as much bread? These people have too much time on their hands to keep coming up with stupid ideas like that.
Lucifer_666

I know you see what you say there is common sense ...I just don't get these people's wild ideas..... you must be right too much time on their hands
Catnapper

I nearly said they keep coming up with half baked ideas

If someone likes thick toast, then all they'll do is put 2 thin slices together! I dread to think what they'll come up with next
Lucifer_666

How long was that in the oven before you decided to use it babe

Or they will have four pieces of toast as the two thin slices won't fill them

Its ludicrous ideas..as for the nect thing ....public floggings for those registered Obese

Thick bread's what we like....when do we want it.....NOW!

That could be the toast (sorry! ) for all bread loving people everywhere!
Lucifer_666

and anyone who gets in their way would become brown bread

I think everyone gets the crust of what we are saying
Catnapper

Thanks for those crumbs of wisdom Luc
