The Stepfather to get remadeIt looks like The Stepfather is the next Horror that is set to be remade
I really liked the chiller 'Stepfather' films of the 80's, mainly because of a pre-Lost's 'Locke' Terry O'Quinn he was exellent in them and had that pure creepy factor that you just don't get that often from some these days
The flick is about to be remade at Screengems. Nelson McCormick is going to helm from a Joe Cardone script. From the sounds of things too, it looks like this will be more of a remake of Part 2, about a boy who thinks his adoptive father might be a serial killer.
I think this could be good but all depends on who they get in for the main role

I thought you meant The Godfather at first Luc!
I haven't heard of it before  Was it a gory type of horror film?

Not really he was just basically a nut who came across to everyone like the perfect husband and stepfather to his new wife's kids but once settled he starts obsessing with the family ...everything has to be done right and he has his own warped idea of what a family should be...basically they do as he tells them to do...he's in full control and anyone who gets in the way of that is a target including the family themselves....of course its discovered he has done this before on numerous families and then disappears.....O Quinn is exellent in it.... he's very creepy and completely out of his head ...you should get it at some stage babe

Oh it does sound very good.....but I'm surprised I've never heard or read about it before. Did it do well at the box office?

Yeah I think the first one did ....it spawned a few sequels but the first is the best in my opinion
