A 3-D, CGI-animated Smurfs feature film will bow in theaters in 2008, The extravaganza from Paramount's Nickelodeon Movies will be the first in a planned trilogy, According to Newsweek, the project has been trying to get off the ground since at least 2003.
Its apt for this year because it is the 50th aniversary of The Smurfs too
I wonder what Smurfette will look like

You know mate I like the sound of that casting...he'd sound out a good Papa Smurf alright though in a way it might make Paoa kind of creepy too
