It makes you wonder if she's having some kind of mental breakdown or if she's on drugs. It's a shame when someone who's so successful can end up like that......maybe she had success too young and couldn't handle the fame?

yeah , it's the kids i feel for though cat , to have a mum and dad like that , there is no doubt in my mind they will be well screwed when older

What is Britney's problem at the moment?

I'd say at the moment it could be both drugs and a mental breakdown after her career started going downhill....all she ever knew was success from when she was young so it must have been a hard pill to swallow for a now spoilt Britney who was used to getting everything her own way

In the paper today it says she's been taking pills that are usually prescribed for horses   .....she was using them to make her slimmer!

She's out of hospital now and she was looking fine in the paper today. Let's hope she gets the treatment to make her better.....if only for the sake of her kids.

Did any of you read this? You know if I was cynical...erm which I can be    you would think its all a huge pr stunt so that Britney can come back hugely later on down the line or perhaps this is been done to protect the sister's career?

McGraw has a history of supporting the Spears family. In December, after the announcement of 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears's pregnancy, he told PEOPLE that "an asset that Britney and Jamie Lynn both have is a great and dedicated mother," Lynne Spears.

"They're a very strong, close-knit family," says Dr. Phil's wife Robin, "They're relying on each other."

And I know Sta ....k fed is as bad but it would only be in America too that a top media Doctor would say that a Mother of a pregnant 16 year old and a now drug addicted/disturbed Britney is a good Mother

Did you read about Britney being in hiding with a Brit paparazzi and his friends? She says he's the only one she can trust

A Brit paparazzi?     We'll be seeing more photos of her now it will be a holy terror    If it really is true then the girl obviously has some real bad issues and should be helped by her family...perhaps this guy is an old friend who perhaps got into the paparrazzi business being out there in Hollywood

There is obviously something seriously wrong there ..and at least she is in the right place.....and hopefully she'll stay away from Dr Phil

Well I'm very relieved that Britney has gone into a psychiatric ward. She has had a lot to cope with recently with having 2 kids so close together, separation and divorce all in the public eye and not knowing who to trust. I have been worried about her but I'm now relieved that she is being cared for properly. I don't know what they do in America but I think in this country she would have been sectioned months ago

Yep she had all those problems K but I also reckon her failing career, drug use and having everything her own way had very much to play in all this aswell...after all having nobody she could trust now was very much her own fault because she obviously had people around her when things were great who were yes people or worse.

Though I do feel sorry for her too....I think the media have really clung on now to this story far too much...and yeah she would have been sectioned long ago your right however I think there was such delays and trouble because she's very spoilt and wouldn't take the help that the family wanted

I think that is the price of fame/ becoming famous when much too young. Its very sad.

Yep it is but I think there are famous people (even from childhood) though who remain grounded and have people they can trust .....it was unfortunate for Britney that she hadn't this.

I repeat.... I do pity her but I do think she's partly her own enemy aswell

I see she has been released from hospital too....Doesn't seem that long ago when she was going in?
