THE GREAT TYNESIDE QUIZJUNE 30TH 20008
This monthly event starts next monday and yours truly has been invited to join a team (nothing special seen as it is only a notch or 2 aboove a pub quiz). So our team now has the required 5 and i am getting excited - i have started memorising stuff from the oscars - mine is best picture from 28 upwards and i have managed to memorise up to 1939 (yes crap, but not as easy as it sounds; especially since i have never been interested in the oscars)
i think if the quiz goes on i shall memorise all 80 for actor, actress, director and picture, as well as palm d'or etc etc
anyone close enough to give it a shot?
so....................does anyone have any obscure trivia for a bit of fun!!!!!!????
heres one - Q. Tarrantino appeared as an Elvis impersonator in an episode of the Golden Girls
just for fun but any tips etc will help

The answer to the Looney Tunes question was Termite Terrace
Warner Bros bought the Leon Schlesinger Productions Company, that originally produced the cartoons, in 1944. They renamed it Warner Bros Cartoons Inc and the Termite Terrace studio was torn down, but they kept the Termite Terrace name as a nickname for the animation facility!
Yeah give us the answers Luc!
|
Lucifer_666
|
Termite Terrace? What a name
As for James Stewart..... he was rejected due to his weight (the Air Corps had very strict height and weight restrictions) he was 5 pounds under the regulated weight requirement
He later achieved the rank however of Brigader General
