The addictiveness of virtual management....In looking for something new to play, lately I've stumbled across my copy of Football Manager 2008 while I wait for the new one to come out. To spice things up a bit I occasionally like to take a job in a country I've had no previous idea of, so I've taken over as boss of Beijing in the Chinese Superleague!
First impressions are it's a big club- my board wants me to challenge for the league as well as the AFC Champions League. I've got a largely 'home grown' side with a smattering of foreigners as the rules are quite tight in that respect, but I'm confident I can manage a good season at the Workers Stadium, it's the closest thing I have to a job right now so i have time to devote to it....

it sounds great bud.. ...personally i have found it hard to get into the full on management games but do love the managerial elements of the Master League in Pro Evo ...granted its alot less in depth than yours but I find it more ...'hands on' kind of gaming also this years Master League is mean't to be the most indepth and improved yet ....i have it alreasdy on pre-order......can't wait

I prefer the more full on management games, that way I can have a say in everything if I want to....

Get yourself Football Manager 2010 when it comes out, that's the best one around, Championship Manager went off track after they switched developers I think!
