I was fuming when I read it in the paper......I think it's condescending to say that Muslims would object to it. Have they actually asked any Muslims? No wonder there's so much racial tension when people do stupid things that.......it makes you wonder what they'll be banning next

This is absolute craziness and I do agree with the writer too if you can ban The Three Little Pigs due to it being apparently racist surely George Orwell's Animal Farm also falls under the same bracket? After all the pigs in that are brought across as the worst kind of people.

I laughed the other night I was watching Family guy and Peter had a think back when he was driving out in the desert and it just showed the Roadrunner speeding to a corner and stopping suddenly to look around ..and then getting suddenly run over by Peter in his car and then we go inside the car and Peter says "Oh my God did I hit something" and next to him is wylie coyote with cheeky grin and sign saying ....No I didn't see anything

That's friggin ridiculous. This country is still predominently a Christian country built on Christian beliefs and foundations (the modern country I'm talking about, obviously after the paganism). Now, I'm not religious, so I don't care what religion other people are, but when it starts to effect what I can and can't do, watch, listen to etc then I get pissed.

When I have travelled abroad to the likes of Egypt, Morocco, Abu Dhabi, Dubai etc I have to adhere to their customs and laws and show respect for their beliefs etc, but when other religions come to England we have to bend over backwards to STILL respect them! How does that work? How is that fair?

Case in point...that stupid bear situation with the school teacher.

The UK government and councils have gone completely and utterly insane!

I hope these people haven't seen the Babe films either...an intelligent talking pig!!! Allah help us!

I personally think that Christmas will never be cancelled as the name of the holiday even if the Christian religion was completely erradicated from existence I still think Christmas would live on...its associated more these days with other things other that the Christian religion like Santa, toys, trees, lights, good will....if it was the Winter festival or something or Winterval it would sound crap wouldn't it?

I see very little difference in it than the punt (our national currency years ago) It did change the cost of stuff a bit as some shops here abused the changeover to raise prices even further than they should have.... they did the same in my father's day when currency went decimal and they stopped using shillings, farthings etc

Now there is no difference....in fact the Euro is slowly growing and at one stage will catch up with the British pound so you all there won't see the difference in prices I reckon

I suppose it comes in useful if you travel a lot to other countries that have the Euro....none of that changing currency business......but seeing how they want people to stay at home and don't use planes cause of carbon footprints, it won't be much use anyway!

And yep it comes in very handy if your traveling through Europe...no messing changing currencies...though its absolutely no good when your next door to a european country that won't except the damned currency
