HIT teen drama Skins is to be made into a movie, Channel 4 confirmed

Bosses aim to follow up the E4 show's awards success with a film and a book.

It's not yet known if stars like Kaya Scodelario and Luke Pasqualino will feature.
After the second series, all but two of the characters were axed to bring in a "new generation" for the third run.

The gritty drama won a People's Choice Bafta last month and attracted impressive viewing figures earlier this year. A fourth series has been announced for 2010.

KINS beauty Kaya Scodelario wants to STRIP at the famous Brazilian Carnival.
The 17-year-old, who plays Effy Stonem in the E4 hit, is half-Brazilian and regularly visits her mum's homeland.

Kaya said: "It's my ambition to go to the Carnival in Rio. I saw the woman on the float who fell down and had hardly any clothing on.

"It's one of my big hopes to do that - but I don't want to fall down."

Kaya who has appeared in her underwear for Skins, added: "The women there are so beautiful and I've even been asked would I go totally naked, but I think semi-naked is OK.

"People think it's about the girls showing their nakedness, but I think it's more about showing your beauty.

"I've been asked would I consider getting my breasts enlarged for carnival. But I don't think my mum would let me, so that is a 'no'. Brazilian women are proud of their bodies. I'm the same."

London-born Kaya went on: "My mum's Brazilian and my dad's English.

"I think I'm very English looking.

"But I've had a typical Brazilian upbringing - I speak Portuguese and lived in a bright yellow walled house."
