Private PartsA forum I go on has a private section that you can get access to once you've reached a certain amount of posts. It encourages people to stick around and obviously post more. The more posts you make the more areas are unlocked.
Are you able to do something like that on here?
Would you want to anyway?!

Hi Honey...I have seen this in other forums myself and it is a very good idea and yeah definitely I can make one on here...my only concern with it...is that it may make here look a bit cliquish and with FilmFlicking still relatively small in terms of other big forums you see out there I think appearing that way could put new members off but perhaps I'm wrong We'd like to hear other Flickers points of view too on this!
What kind of private area would you like Honey or do you think would suit FilmFlicking?
The suggestion is very much appreciated...its great hearing different ideas trying to improve here.....thanks

It sounds a good idea as long as we don't get people posting 1 word posts or gobbledegook just to build their posts total up

Well, the forum I go on has an adult jokes section  . Or anything over 18 you may want to discuss for that matter.
But there's also general chit chat where you might talk about things you maybe don't want any old people reading.
There's also a games arcade where there's about 20 different games you can play with a score board.
Not that I'm sauggesting this for here. just saying what's on this other forum which is basically a scifi one.
It's a fairly new one, there are only 5 of us regular posters, with a few new people starting to post too. From what newbies have said the incentive to unlock forbidden areas is a good one and they've started posting more. No one so far has posted rubbish, well, maybe only their opinions on certain things.
It's not set very high either, cause you don't want people thinking it's unachievable, the first area is unlocked after 300 posts which I think is quite low.

It does sound good Honey I have to admit...if you recall there was an Adult section here before but we felt that it may end up putting some new posters off....the idea of it being a perhaps hidden area might actually suit it better...  its definitely something for us to consider and perhaps even chat and discuss further on its content..Oh I'm just after
