New Football Manager game?Does anybody know when the new Football Manager game's out? I know they always usually try and release one either just before or after a new footy season starts but haven't heard or seen a thing promoting it. I've a good mind to treat myself to the new one as I do every season. Wouldn't say it consumes my life though, a university career keeps me in check or I probably would go hell for leather on it and try taking a team from Division Three to the Premiership or something similar to my proudest moment on the game, winning promotion with Antwerp to the Belgian Premiership from Division Two of their national league in successive seasons, as well as snaffling the Champions League with them.

I found it hard to get into the Football Manager series preferring more the Master League in Pro Evo ...in saying that I would love to see more features from football manager games introduced to Pro Evo
As for Football Manager 2009 its all rather confusing ...its said to be released on the 31st of October yet very little info is being released but that may be because they have released a Live cersion of the game this summer and are all oput promoting that

Yeah, I read somewhere that Sports Interactive are branching out into online gaming actually. I hope they don't abandon the good old traditional PC disc though....

I don't think they have but it is strange that there is very little talk about it?
|

|
Yeah, usually it's advertised on telly, in PC magazines and football publications but so far there's nothing. Perhaps they'll unveil it before the new Premier League or Football League seasons.

Or you would see some kind of site or little tidbit even on their main site about it but there is nothing

I'm sure it will be released....I don't know I just can't get into them ...then again I never really give one a real shot

They're good- you get complete control over team selection and all the perks that come with the manager's job at a club.

Well, all depends on the quality of your squad and/or transfer budget really, as well as your aspirations for your virtual bunch of lads.

I definitely mustr have another go cause I know I haven't really given it a good shot
