Mr WoodcockI watched this a few nights back and admit I was disappointed! It promised so much- John Farley ( Sean William Scott) returns to his hometown after a few years spent away as a successful author, only to find that the sadistic PE teacher who bullied him at school (Billy Bob Thornton) is now dating his mother. This causes some tension and prompts John to try and get one over on him.
There are a few funny moments but it's not brilliant. The sickly sweet final third is almost excruciating to watch, and there are a few stupidly juvenile gags but it's OK if you want to watch a no-brainer!

Oh I was sort of looking forward to this too bud ..I thought it might have been good from the trailers I had seen of it  I'll probably rent it at some stage later

Oh, it's a decent enough rental but I'd have felt cheated if I paid to see it at the cinema!
