MIRRORSWell i am picking up a supposed retail copy of this film tonight - and as i have the whole night to myself i think i shall order a chinese, open a pilsner or 2 and relax in front of it

well one horror down - one to go
the film is about a security guard (sutherland) who, when on his bi-hourly patrol discovers something sinister within a burnt down buildings mirrors....................it seems something in the mirror is after something or those he loves shall be in grave danger (like his predecessors); no more spoilers
an ok film (6/10) with a decent ending (7/10)
nothing special, just a bit of harmful fun

the trailer that you have seen is the beginnning........then there is only one death scene to mention after that...............cgi is used which is pretty crappy TBH, but the film is worth a watch, but dont expect anything brilliant and sutherland is just Jack Bauer chasing daemons from another world/ish/esque type thing

haha...dont really know 24 (only first series)!!
I like old Keifer, so have kept an eye out for this coming out. Will have a gander and see what i think!

I can't understand why Mirrors got so many negative reviews......I thought it was spooky, very atmospheric and had some good scares in it too. Even the ending has a neat twist to it. Some critics said about Keifer Sutherland overacting and shouting too much....I'd be shouting if a demon in a mirror was after me

I read an interview Kiefer Sutherland gave where he said he's scared of watching horror films and only watches them about once a year He must have been petrified after filming Mirrors

I also heard that Sutherland has a real phobia about mirrors generally aswell which also heightened the fear factor....I don't think he was acting that much in the film I think he really was scared
