Kung Fu

Here's the new synopsis for the new movie coming based on the 70's tv hit series Kung Fu....its being directed by the Hughes Brothers and it sounds good!!

“During the 1880’s, a half-Chinese Shaolin Monk roams America’s western frontier in search of his American Father, but winds up incarcerated in an exceptionally harsh prison where he must use his martial arts skills to survive.”

Apprently the intention is to make something genuinely good and gritty and different.

For me it all depends on who they get to play the main character Caine...they are still looking for the right actor

I did like the original series. This sounds like an interesting concept, but yes it will largely depend on the charisma of the person they get to play the lead.

Hmm it could be excellent.....I hope they don't have the actors use wires though. It might look good on screen but it spoils it for me when the actor does moves you just know would be impossible in real life!

Hey Rodd I just noticed your a projectionist now .....well done bud Who would you like to see as Caine?? any ideas???

And yes Babe I know what you mean about ludicrous maneuvers during fight scenes only certain films get away with that.....like The Matrix...simply because we knew they were in a computer world and perhaps even Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon because it was set in a magical mystical Ancient China

But films like Charlie's Angels and MI2 really bugged me for using those types of stunts
