Jeepers Creeper 3

Ray Wise has confirmed that he completed a table read last Monday for "Jeepers Creepers 3".

The last time we saw the Creeper, he was nailed to a wall with a harpoon gun pointed, happily awaiting his return in 23 years. Just how will the "Bat Outta Hell" manage to escape the trap that has been waiting for him for over two decades?

Well, I can't really tell you that. However, we can confirm that Ray Wise (the resourceful farmer from JC2) will be manning that gun again, maybe as soon as January. The actor completed a table read last Monday, he told the crowd at the Weekend of Horrors, and he went on to reveal that the film will be a combination of both the first films, and that characters from both will be making appearances, albeit 23 years older, in the second sequel from director Victor Salva.

Another interesting piece of info came in with regard to the Creeper's lair. Remember? The one with wall to wall naked teen decor? We will be seeing a lot more of the beast's home. I wonder what he uses to hang his towels on ... OK, maybe we don't wanna know.

Looks good I loved the first film...but thought the sequel was just okay...it will be interesting to se where they go with this one now   and whether the sister from the first film will be back and the weird black woman?

I liked the first one.....not too gory for my taste   but I've never seen the 2nd one so I don't know how the story continued.....I'll have to look out for it and catch up, ready for JC3
Lucifer_666

The second one is all about a group of kids on a bus and it breaks down in the middle of nowhere....and of course our bat like friend is stalking outside too....I don't think it had the mystery and tension of the first but it was still okay
gellarbing

i hated these films, can't believe they're making a third
Lucifer_666

Why do you hate them Gellarbing? Any particular reason?
gellarbing

its just not my type of film i suppose, it felt too far fetched and wierd for my liking
Lucifer_666

What horror films would you find scary then Gellarbing? Is there any that really chill you to the bone?
gellarbing

im more of a slasher movie fan myself, but after ive watched them a few times they're no longer scary but i still like them, as for chilling movies id say the ring 1 and 2, ive seen them countless times and they still give me the creeps
Lucifer_666

Oh havce you seen the original ones Gellarbing...they are very good...I actually prefer them to the Hollywood ones
Catnapper

A bit more info.......previous characters will be returning and there's a horror western sequence set in the Old West!
Lucifer_666

Oh they must be going back in time showing that this creature was around even back in the old West   Sounds very good
Scorpio

i appreciate your opinion Gelarbing but if you find Jeepers Creepers farfetched but NOT Ringu; something is seriously up mate LOL

each to their own huh
Lucifer_666

Though it is funny how some people find certain things scary while other things not and its usually the thing that is the scarier that seems the more likely or more real to that person...so perhaps to some people having a girl creep out of your tv set is more real than a bat like creature that stalks a disserted American back road   Personally I like both films but neither are very likely in real terms
Catnapper

I like The Ring films....I watched Ring 2 last night   You're right about different things scaring people Luc.......[Rec] is being billed as one of the scariest movies ever and even though I liked it, it wasn't so scary to me!
Scorpio

I AGREE CATTY - WHAT WAS SCARY ABOUT .REC?
Catnapper

I'm glad you felt the same way Scorps! It'll be interesting to see if the Hollywood version of it (Quarantine... or Quarantined, I can't remember which) is scarier than the original.

The part where the cameraman drops his camera and you see his foot and hear noises, should have been scary....but I was practically yelling at him to pick the camera up so I could see what was happening
Lucifer_666

Yep I agree with you both on REC aswell....I was expecting so much more than it give really...the trailer in particularly really sold it well but I ended up being disappointed by it
Scorpio

for me the genre is not scary - i get bored by zombies and it takes a little extra than a deranged man/woman to scare me.....................psychological is the way forward

switchblade romance is GOOOOD
Lucifer_666

I do tend to agree with you Scorpio Zombies don't really scare me either though I did like lately 28 Days Later and Resident Evil..but neither where overly scary...I just found them entertaining
