Iron Man - don't leave before the credits!

I won't say what happens but you've got to stay and watch till the end of the credits!
lord vader

oh must be another bit leading to iron man 2
Lucifer_666

Oh oh oh .....I hope the pirate guy filming stays till the end credits now
Catnapper

Tell him to stay in his seat
Lucifer_666

If he doesn't I won't be happy.... I may even decide never to download another ...just in pure disgust
Catnapper

Until the next time when there's a film you're desperate to see
Lucifer_666

Yeah but when I'm downloading I'll let him know I'm not happy......by...erm.... writing a little comment
Lucifer_666

Oh oh oh I know what you mean now Cat

Spoiler:

Dark Horizons wrote:
When critics saw "Iron Man" this week, it was disappointing to see that the cameo by Samuel L. Jackson as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury had been dumped from the film.

Now its been revealed that the cameo IS a part of the film after all - in a post-credits scene. The final print reel of the film screened for critics did NOT include this scene, but the general release prints which have begun showing across the world contain it so keep an eye out.

For those without the patience though, a bootleg capture of the scene is already online  (But I'm afraid they had to remove it   )

But I got another

Avengers film here we come

Catnapper

They've pulled the other clip too Luc

I knew you'd like that part at the end credits
Lucifer_666

I got another

Spoiler:

Just in case they pull this too here's the dialogue...

(Stark walks back into his house....with somebody standing looking out his window (Fury)

Stark: Jarvis?

Computer voice: Welcome Home Sir

Nick Fury: I am Iron Man!...Suspect that your the only Superhero in the world?....Mr Stark...you have become part of a bigger
universe....... you just don't know it yet!

Stark: Who the hell are you?

Nick Fury: Nick Fury....Director of S.H.I.E.L.D ...I'm here to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative

Come on The Avengers!!!!!!

Catnapper

That clip played fine Luc   The audience sounded excited by the news too
Jipdog

OOOOO! Saw the film twice over the weekend an didn't stay after the credits. Got to say though, what is it with film producers changing characters race? First it was Kingpin in Daredevil now Nick Fury. Saying that, at least it's not the Hoff again!
Lucifer_666

I can understand the excitement babe.....The Avengers could be truly amazing!!! And I already love the early build ups to it combining loads of the upcoming Marvel hero films together

Yeah I know what you mean Jipdog however what was neat about this was that there was a series of comics titled the Ultimates.. basically like the Ultimate Spiderman, the Ultimate X Men, etc which were like reimagings or updatings of old characters for a new generation of readers... and old ones too I suppose... but they changed Nick Fury to look black in this and even got permission from Samuel L Jackson to use his image for the comics years ago so it was fated to get him to do the role for the new Ironman film   In these comics they alter things and the Ulitimate Nick Fury forms the Avengers (which are known as the Ultimates not Avengers in these comics)

I know it can get a bit confusing   but it does give Stan Lee and film makers a wider canvas of where they can go with the future films
Catnapper

Tsk tsk JD......I told people to stay behind after the credits

Samuel L ran a comicbook store in Unbreakable too so he was destined to be Nick Fury
Lucifer_666

Yep it would appear that Jackson may be a comic book fan in real life??
Jipdog

So, common feeling is that Sam Jackson will be a better Nick Fury than David Hasselhoff then?
Lucifer_666

Don't feel too bad for him Jipdog I do think he's the only one who could really play Mitch Bucannon....  could you really see Jackson running in slow motion in some red shorts?.. Me Neither
Jipdog

Thats not to say he wouldn't give it a try! I do think the Hoff gets an unfair rap. Did you not see his calender this year? He knows how to take the mick out of himself!
Lucifer_666

I actually do like the fella ....and your right he doesn't take himself too seriously.....

havn't seen his calender though??? I have seen many funny pics on the net of him
