You know you'll find it is usually those that are scared most from an idea in a film that try and put it down the most...its like they have to discredit it so they can handle the terror of its content..you know make it not real or possible anymore in their minds at least ....so I guess this could be the category your in Honey ....and of course I understand

Yes she isn't riled by me Sta but I think the film might actually have and also scared her only she blocked it out....trauma can do these things you see.....it can also be the reason she feels the need to make light of the film......to make it seem rubbish or silly to secure the terror out of her mind

You should sometime Sta...its one of those films though that has got that many parodies about it its easy for many now to discard it an unscary but I still think it was a very good idea that pushed the boundaries of acceptability and when you delve further into the making of the film and the Director who was just plain crazy....its truly a well worth experience mate |

Agree Andy, think it's a really good horror, found it quite scary the first time I saw it, thinking it could be true!! The remake was pretty trashy though, no surprise.
And I'm talking to Scottish Andy there, incidentally about Amityville!! Before you go twisting my words lol |

that is the thing about amityville , the reallity of it , it's not a horror from a famous producer and director , it really happened ,
has anyone see nthe photo's for a vigale they did there , well scary , at the top of the stairs they took a photo of the stairs , and the re was an open door , and peeking out of the door was the ghost of a young boy , how crazy is that |
